Sunburn prevention

Hello,
I am interested in open water swims in the summer, such as Swim Around Key West. What are tips for sunburn prevention? Products? Timing and number of layers? Open to any suggestions. Thank you!

Yes.
And, for key west, do t forget the front of you as well as the back. The water is shallow enough in places there for a long enough with white sand that the sun will bounce up from below to nail the front of your body.

Bullfrog is a great sunscreen. The water there is super-salty, so score some Sport Slick for chafing.
