Hi,
I see Oceanman is working to implement the "ultraoceanman", consisting of two races.
http://oceanman-openwater.com/ultraoceanman/
One of them has buoy optional and neoprene standby (the one in Tabarca), therefore I was wondering if buoy and neoprene are not used, do you think will the swim be recognised in marathon swims db?
The rules are not published on their website, therefore I haven't found further details about non assistance, such as feeding and no-contact rule.

Yes, if the results clearly distinguish between wetsuits & skins.

The DB actually does include a few events that are safety-buoy mandatory (but otherwise unassisted), such as the Thames Marathon. But this exception is only for races / large group swims where the organizer requires it. No such exception for solo swims, though.

I would like to complete the information above.
I have emailed the officials of the Greek, Kalamata swim of 30km, "Mesenian Gulf Swim"(https://longswims.com/events/messenian-gulf-swim/)
They responded and confirmed the collaboration with Oceanman.

I hope this will be eligible for the MSF rules, as it was on my bucket list and won't make a EU swim disapear from the list. Bellow the email from the officials.

    ____Dear athlete,

Yes we will organize the 31th O.W.S.M. on 7/9/2019 with the Oceanman. Soon there will be a website that will make your application for participation just waiting to finish some procedural yet.

    Best regards,
    Dimitris Kakalikas
