Interesting piece! And oh the dilemma! I actually enjoy the interval work! I like changing things up a bit! But at least some of my runs and swims are done at moderate pace, so there's hope. (Of course, my "interval workout" pace would be described by many as "moderate." So I NEED the speed work!)

Well, mostly I was posting it to be silly. I'm not that fond of sprinting in any format, but unfortunately my times prove it's effective for training.
I'm pretty sure that like most pop-sci articles they have to generate a fifteen hundred word stew out of a single oyster data point.
Most studies show that resistance training is excellent for long term bone and joint health. I'm thinking balance is the key.
