Cool swimming art

I made my way down to my local pool, today, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. (You know, where those rockin' Winter Olympics were held a couple years ago...)
I saw this really cool swimming weather vane art thing. As the wind blew, the swimmer's legs would move up and down. Pretty cool.
This was at the beautiful 137-meter Kitsilano Pool, capacity 1800. :-)

We're all just carbon, water, starlight, oxygen and dreams
Here are some (12!) beautiful swimming prints that I've just stumbled across. ($100 USD + shipping).
(Oh, and naked people too, if that's more/also your thing. ;-) Also naked people swimming. Lots of options. ;-) )

Love the art work! Also would be interested in swim related jewelry (earrings, pendants, for ex.).
An Alki Beach regular paints a lot of swimming pictures. (And yes, he swims with bricks sometimes. The video explains.) http://www.samday.com/SwimPaintings.html
I don't wear a wetsuit; it gives the ocean a sporting chance.
It's not a painting and not sure it qualifies as "art" but I created this image after my BLDSA Loch Lomond swim, which for those not in the know is a 35K night swim.
For most of the night the inky black peat water was mill pond smooth. With not a cloud in the sky and a new moon it felt at times that I was swimming through a see of stars.
@phodgeszoho, that's my favourite swimming image this year.

use it for the calendar
Unfortunately there are two problems, firstly it is not high enough resolution for the calendar and secondly it is comped together from a bunch of images I grabbed off Google and thus I don't hold the rights to any of them. When I knocked this up I was just messing around so wasn't paying attention to sourcing proper high-res royalty free images to use.
A woman I swim with everyday at Masters is an amazing artist and has done a number of swimming acrylics on canvas ... I bought one and it hangs in a place of honor in my home. Her name is Karen Landrigan; she is a member of the Society of Canadian Artists. The pieces below are all 36x48, but she does lithos and smaller sizings of the same. Check out her website for more of her work:http://www.karenlandrigan.com/
I came across this article as I was perusing the Irish news and I thought it was an interesting topic and one that some may be interested in

I love Nancy Farmer's art and have one of her prints, titled Into the Blue.
