Boston Light Swim 2014

This year we are holding a lottery signup for the limited spots in the 2014 Boston Light Swim. The opportunity to signup for the lottery opened today, March 1st and will remain open until March 14th. The 2013 event filled out in a matter of minutes, so in fairness to everyone we are switching to a lottery system.

This year’s swim race will take place on Saturday, July 26th at 7:00am. There is a lot of information on the BLS http://bostonlightswim.org/wp/?page_id=15 page and http://bostonlightswim.org/?page_id=474 page.

You can signup for the chance to get one of the 20 solo spots or 5 relay spots at https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=27543.

    @dc_in_sf, UltraSignup should be doing it today. I would guess that everyone should know sometime this weekend.

    I thought that you had until today to sign up? It looks like the lottery is already closed.

    The sign-up opened after midnight on March 1st and stayed open for two weeks until just after midnight today (March 14th).

    That's what I get for waiting until the last minute. Oh well, there's always next year.

    Very fun swim, I'd heard previously that it was highly recommended and I can add my +1 to that - Scenic route, well organized and great people, everything you could want in a swim :)
