Thanks also to @bluemermaid9 for updating the New York State and Dixie Zone race calendars, and to @JustSwim for providing updates on Midwest swims.

The Northern California, Southern California, New England, and Pacific Northwest calendars have also been updated with known 2018 dates. Anyone interested in taking over or sharing the maintenance/updating of those, I'd be happy for the help.

The U.S. Marathon Swim calendar has a new feature: links to past results of each event (via LongSwimsDB).

Thanks to @ZoeSadler and Andre from the British Long Distance Swimming Association, we now also display the BLDSA Event Calendar -- great to have some more international representation.

Really appreciate you adding us Evan, would be great to have stronger ties with the international swimming community.

A lot of our popular events are sold out or about to though - so book early and don't miss out. We're looking at increasing capacity for our events too, so if there's a waiting list, put your name down.

I am updating Mid-Atlantic calendar for 2019. We should have a couple new ones on there. If you know of a swim that hasn't been posted in the past or is a new event. please share it with me. I have the Atlantic City Swim and Maryland Freedom Swim added.

Many organized open water races scheduled for this season have been canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nonetheless I want to thank the MSF Race Calendar Team for their work in researching and updating the calendars for 2020:

Not yet, but we really think that we can still put on an event that will meet Covid safety guidelines and still be fun. We are holding off any decisions until we have further guidance from our governmental authorities regarding travel quarantines and group events.

Here is sunny St Lucia we are planning solo swims... across the channel or around the island. We do not have our swim events or clinics planned as yet since we have to wait out the updates to entering the island during the pandemic.
