Lynne Cox book tour - "Open Water Swimming Manual"

As you may have heard, one of our own, Lynne Cox, has a new book that came out today!
Open Water Swimming Manual: An Expert's Survival Guide for Triathletes and Open Water Swimmers.

Lynne is going on tour to support the book, and I thought it would be useful to make a list of her appearances: where, when, etc. Please feel free to add to this list or post any other relevant info.

I'll be personally attending her August 16th appearance at the South End Rowing Club. Hope to see some of you there!

At least one other swimmer at the appearance last night got the info here.

Lynne spoke for about an hour sharing some great stories.

I found it to be much like attending an open water event seeing many friends and making new ones.

I wish she'd come to Denver. There are like 10 of us who would totally be there. But still, I wish she'd come!

Saw her Wed night in Arlington, VA. Great speaker with wonderful stories. Then very nicely spent time with all who stood in line for her autograph. She involved the audience in answering questions too, which was nice.

Almost done with the book. Love its focus on safety. I'll be recommending it to the triathletes I coach.

Got to meet her in San Francisco on the 16th. What a delightful and humble person she is! And the book is packed with useful information. She was also selling her biography of Roald Amundsen, which makes for a great read.
