Training in Baltimore, MD August 2013

Hi. I'll be at Goucher College from late July through Aug. 9 where, in addition to starting an MFA, I'll have to keep up my training for a 17-miler in NYC. I'd like recommendations on great weekday masters workouts and places close to Baltimore where I can get in some training on some days. Eager to have mates join in!

    I would PM @Kevin_in_MD. He is Coach at nearby Merritt Athletic Club. Goucher has their own Masters program but not sure how active it is.

    If you are in by the 20th, you can head to Ocean City for inaugural 9 mile ocean swim. August 4th is the 1 and 2 mile Purple Swim which is relatively close to Towson.

    If you don't mind a little driving, ABC has organized ow swims every morning down in Annapolis. I just go down for their Sunday swims but can give you a contact name if interested. Also, nothing fancy, but another guy training for Ederle and I will be doing some after work swims @ Lake Linganore (about 40 mins west on rt 70) Welcome to join us.
