Gulfport/Biloxi, Mobile, Pensacola area swimmers?

I recently did my first open water swim, the Pensacola 3-Mile Bridge Swim, which I realize is wimpy by forum standards - but I'd like to do more and longer events. I'm wondering if there are any open water swimmers in the general vicinity of Mobile (or ~an hour in either direction) who would be open to being a training partner/tutor. (I swim in a pool on a regular basis so I am mostly interested in ocean or lake swims.) Thanks!

    I would have cooked my internal organs in a wetsuit, but probably 60% of the people in the 3-mile swim wore them.

    I'm in baton rouge, but went over for the 25k on Saturday that weekend. There is a guy in Navarre who swam the 25k both this year and last year. Check the 25k results on Facebook, as I don't remember his name. I know of some folks in new Orleans, but not that far East
