Swim the Suck 2013

I just saw on FB that there are hardly any slots left for StS 2013, so thought I could start this post.
This was one of my favorite swims last year and I'm looking forward to swimming it again.
Anyone else in the forums taking part?

I think this might be the soonest-to-sell-out swim in the U.S., outside MIMS?

It's not a marathon swim, but the Chesapeake Bay Swim (4.4 miles) sells out 600-ish spots in something like 45 minutes or less.

Thanks Karah for the video!

Decent push from the current at the start though it seemed to die off a little in the second half. That said according to my GPS I was averaging around ~25minute mile splits and I am more of a 36+minute mile over a long swim person so not complaining at all :-)
Enough swimmers that someone was always in sight which helped engage "race mode" a little even for a back of the pack person like myself.
Winner was the Ashley Whitney ('96 Olympic Gold medalist 4 x200m Freestyle)
Would definitely do this again.

Another strong race from @dc_in_sf. You are a middle of the pack guy now. You are making the true back of the pack guys feel really slow.

@IronMike Artwork was a stained glass wall piece. I don't know how to post pictures here but if I remember, I can take picture on phone and text to you this evening.
Thanks to @Niek for extracting the proper URL to the image
I hope to hang it in that window tonight after I pick up some hooks from the hardware store.
