Swimming in the Black Sea

Hello All - I'm planning a distance swim in the Black Sea along the Turkish coast north or Istanbul in June. Does anyone have recommendations for beach towns in that area that would be a good location for this? Contacts for local open water swimmers in that region who might have suggestions? Thanks!

    @MvG - Thank you again for the referral to Kamil. We have connected and he is helping me find a boat and captain for my swim. He even offered to come on the boat during my swim!

    I swam off the coast of Istanbul once, but can't remember whether I was on the Black Sea side or not. I do know that I encountered lots of jellyfish and the water was beautiful and warm. A brief search showed Burc, and Tirmata as being great beaches in Kilyos. Have a great swim!!!

    Thanks @MLamby Yes looks like I'm headed to Kilyos to swim. Should be a fun 10k.

    Both are on Black sea! In Bulgaria!
    Great for ow speed!
