Anyone swimming at Promontory Point this Saturday (2022-07-16)?

I'm in Chicago this weekend for a wedding Saturday evening, so hoping to get a swim in while in town (probably only a mile since I am not really in swimming shape due to kids these days)

Anything I should know? I've checked out @evmo 's blog happy for any additional about the location.

I am staying downtown without a car, so will grab some form of transit to get there, thinking I'll bring a buoy and tow my phone/wallet and just hope my clothes don't get nicked :-)

    Met up with fellow Aussie and Southender @ChickenOSea and got a lovely warm (but rough) swim in at the point
