Congratulations, Evan!
Big congratulations are in order for @evmo who will be inducted into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in May as an honor contributor. His tireless efforts over the past decade-plus to help build and support the sport through a variety of initiatives -- from this forum and the Marathon Swimmers Federation, to the rules of marathon swimming, the Long Swims Database, Track.RS, his work with the Santa Barbara Channel Swimming Association, his efforts supporting individual swims as an observer and so much more - has had an enormous and long-lasting effect on the sport.
This honor is richly deserved and long overdue, IMO.
Congrats, Evan, and thanks for all you do to help us swimmers achieve big goals in cold water.

Thank you, Elaine.
And thanks to the members of this community who have supported and helped develop the MSF project over the years.
Congratulation!
Great job so many years!
Congratulations Evan!!! So very well deserved.
Congratulations, Evan, and Thank you!
I'll tell you what, it sure is cool to see the spotlight shining on someone who has dedicated so much of his time and energy shining the spotlight on other people! Congratulations, Evan!
Long Time coming!!! Thank you for taking our sport to the next level!
So well deserved! None of us get to do big swims without all the support of people like you and the organizations that you built for and with the community . And while we can see some of what you have done for the sport with MSF, the tracker, and SBC there is also the help you provide that's unseen, I've been the recipient of that on a few occasions. Thank you Evan for caring and doing so much!!!!
Congrats, Evan! And many many thanks for your efforts and results with the Database, Track.RS and this website, which are invaluable tools for us who are away from the hot spots of marathon swims.
