Swim around island of Capri

    Hi! I think you can rent a motorboat (with or without skipper) and do it.
    Haven't heard of an organised event for circumnavigation.

    It's very busy water, lots of liners/ fishing boats / speed boats / cruisers / yachts / skis / tours etc etc. Be careful. Mauve stingers too that pack a bit of a punch.

    I am very interested in the respective area also. Have read there are periods of year when they are a lot out there. Not sure how visible they are in a marathon swim and how many one body could take in a period of time. Need to do some research on that. These are warm water creatures, so maybe you do your swim when the water is not that warm.
