Looking for places to swim near Brooklin, ME

Hi all - About six weeks out from the Swim for Alligator Lighthouse, I'll be with the family for a week in Brooklin Maine. I'd love to get a few early morning swims in so as not to disrupt either the family time or the training....

Can anyone recommend some locations/routes or local groups that take advantage of what seem to be ideal, albeit chilly, conditions for some OWS?

Hmm, I could recommend some places on MDI, but I'm not too familiar with the Brooklin area. The currents on the Mt Desert Narrows side are going to be quite strong, and keep in mind that the tides are 10-12 feet. Try either the Midcoast Open Water FB page:
