    Did this today, had a blast, and didn't hurt myself too badly :) Super well organized given there were more than double the number of swimmers in the water as any previous year. Definitely worthwhile to map out the bridges beforehand as a mental course reference, as they are NOT evenly spaced!

    Wish I would have met you there, @evmo. Having swum this event in 2012, I was kayaking Sunday for a friend and had a great day.

    I agree with you about mapping the bridges. However, that 4-mile bridge-less span from Swan Island to the railroad bridge near the end is a BEAST! You can see it, but it NEVER gets closer.
