Lake Argyle - 20km training and nutrition plan

Hi Everyone,
I'm starting to train for my first 20km swim - Lake Argyle in Western Australia. I will be doing two 10km swims prior to the 20km swim in May.
I was wondering if anyone had any good training and nutrition tips for the 20km swim? This will be the longest distance I will have swum or trained for. Am nervous and very excited!

    @MKFitzpatrick. For nutrition I have always gone with between 250 and 300 calories per hour feeding every 30 minutes (150 calories on each go). Simple carbs work well.

    I am not sure if it will help but I have added my feeding plan to my upcoming swim website. It may give you a few ideas. You will see it at the base of the page under Planning Documents. Please feel free to ask questions.

    You will definitely want to try what every you choose during training.
