    If you are worried, There is a typhoid vaccine. I've had it 2-3 times I think over the years.

    Not really worried for my sake because in PA I'm more likely to get a disease carried by all the farm animals, I just thought to give a heads-up to anyone venturing further afield. I would suggest a cholera vaccine shot for anyone swimming in the Schuylkill River around Philly as there is measurable Choloform (sp?) bacteria there.
