The swimming community lost a great friend when David Yudovin passed away on March 28th, 2015. David was a member of the Marathon Swimmers' Hall of Fame and the International Swimming Hall of Fame and had crossed the 20 mile Catalina Channel four times in his lifetime. At the beginning of this year, David was working with Swim Across America to start the first Swim Across America Catalina Relay. Please join SAA and Beth Yudovin, David's loving widow, in honoring David's life and illustrious career by donating to the SAA - Catalina Relay. Proceeds will help make waves to fight cancer at the City of Hope Cancer Research Center.
Please join The David Yudovin Memorial team or make a donation today! Checks should be made out to Swim Across America and can be sent to One International Place, Suite 4600, Boston, MA 02110.

Fair winds, following seas!
What a great day for a channel swim. Water has been flat and above 70 the whole way. We are mid way through the second round of swims.
Flat does not begin to describe it.. OVER 70?
Bathwater. Wonderful temp but kind of scary too I guess.
Looks like a lovely day on the water.
Swim well and enjoy.
Great day for a Catalina Channel swim!
And on David's birthday!
