Best of luck to those swimming. Remember to keep your nose into the wind once you see Gandy Bridge. Have fun.
Now that's a swim! Best wishes to all!

I've recently returned from 4 weeks in the Greek Islands (hard I know!
), the first week of which was on a SwimTrek holiday (SwimTrek Greek Cyclades).
I'm guessing some members here have been on SwimTrek tours before?
The winner of the 2015 Tampa Bay Marathon, Emma Schaefer, was one of our guides. The other was Sian Williams, a Welsh girl who has swam the English Channel. So we were in pretty good hands.
Emma was only just back swimming after this marathon swim, due to a blood clot in her arm, which involved multiple surgeries, including removing a rib. It would seem this started before her swim, and her arm blew up a week after. See her blog here: Emma's blog Pretty amazing.
Emma and Sian were great, and what a fantastic week we had.
Some photos of the girls lubing us up. Best part of the swim!
