Island of Eleuthera - open water hot spot for record setting?

Seems that this area is on the radar for more than a handful of swimmers wanting to set records: an epic, record breaking attempt by Jamie Patrick set for June 24th. Chloe swims 77 miles and Jamie attempting . . . 78.

    I've been to eleuthera 10 times since 2006. It's a great place to plan a long swim from.

    ...anything worth doing is worth overdoing.
